Gaming Friday
There is nothing more rewarding than starting my weekend off by playing my favorite game. This won't be a very long entry, I just want to give a few updates on my ACNH island. As of now, Merengue has moved out. She didn't stay around for nearly as long as I thought she would. It was a tough decision for me to make, she is one of my favorite villagers ever. As you can imagine, I was a bit bummed out at first when I chose to let her go. Sooner rather than later, I brought over Raddle to stay in her place. I suppose he is better fitting for my forest themed island. Since he's a frog and all. Apparently he's one of the villagers in the lazy category, so he should get along with Filbert just fine!
I can't forget to mention Frobert was visiting my campsite, I was originally trying very hard to have him before I came across Raddle. I got a bit too excited about the possibility of him living on Sunnyside. He has been on my wish list for villagers I want to have around. I thought interacting with him more would convince him to stay, but my plan failed. He did give me a gift after playing a game with me though! Which was sweet. Maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to cross paths with him again. Then he can become a proper resident! (wishful thinking…)
Moving on to the next topic here. Now there's candy and other Halloween goodies being sold at Nook's Cranny. I can only purchase one piece of candy per day, which gives me more of a reason to play again tomorrow and so on! I'd like to have enough saved up to give to everyone. Another added bonus is pumpkins are even being sold at a discount price. I even discovered the pumpkins can be used for recipes and crafts. Now that is genius and fun! And I know there will be an event of some sort on Halloween night, so I'm deciding on what my costume should be. I'm hoping to be prepared for it in advance, if possible. If my real life doesn't keep me too busy this month.
The Early Morning ordinance will even be in effect after today, yes I decided to change from the one I had active before. I prefer to play at earlier hours of the day when I'm feeling refreshed. I'll admit to being an early bird and am proud of it! I find myself getting too sleepy to focus when I try playing later in the night. I never want to lose sleep over a video game anyway. So this should be more convenient for my own needs.
Next, I cleaned up much more of the island's flower overgrowth since my last entry. So I'm feeling satisfied with my progress on that. Now I would like to dedicate more time to decorate since some areas are looking more empty. The rest of my playtime was spent earning more Nook Miles and Bells since I was running low on each. If only it were as simple and straightforward to earn money in reality as it is here..
Yeah, I think that's all I can think of for any Animal Crossing updates. Nothing really significant happened since the froggies came to town. That is fine by me! The simplicity and coziness of this game makes it so easy to pick up and play at anytime. I wouldn't have it any other way.
